End of Year Memories

Late November through December has piled up good memories. Here is one:

Nine kids--grandkids, great nephews and one great niece congregated on our back porch during a Smoky Mountain Christmas gathering at our house.

I couldn't get them all in the picture from my perch in a camping chair by our fire pit, but just knowing they were there was a joy.

They are all growing up so fast!

I’ll be posting a few more end-of-2019 memories in the next decade.

  1. Happy New Year!

It's a blessing to not be able to fit them all in one picture. It means you have many! 😊

  3. I know what you mean about not being able to get all the family in those holiday pictures. Everyone is so busy talking and moving about that to get them all to stand still for a minute is almost impossible. But I love the pic you did get. It is a great shot. Happy 2020!

  6. Kids mean so much...just hearing kids' laughter brings a smile to my face. And Lorelei has a younger friend that can crack me up. I did not realize it till we picked her up on the way home from a baby shower. I was in tears with laughter.

What a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas.
I sure wish we had a fire pit. It would be so much fun to gather around one.
