As I was getting ready for church this morning, my thoughts turned to grace.
Ever since I had a life-threatening stroke in 2011, my walking, whether with my rollator or holding on to Hubby, is anything but graceful.
I can rejoice, however, in the certainty that I have God's grace. Today I am thanking my savior Jesus, my heavenly father and the Holy Spirit.
Hope your Sunday is filled with joy and grace!

I am so thankful for God's grace. Without it I wouldn't be going to heaven one day. :)

ReplyDeleteI have always admired your courage, humor and of course that sweet husband of yours to help you through a tough time. God gave you all the tools you needed.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The encouragement, shared joys and challenges of you and other blogging friends made a healing difference for me after my stroke. That connection is what has pulled me back into blogging. Thank you so much for continuing to share your experiences and insights.
DeleteI am glad that WE both are grateful for God's grace.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
DeleteGrace, grace...God's Grace...Grace that is greater than all our sin..that song came immediately to mind when I read this.
ReplyDeleteI do like your illustration for His grace.
I need that today as I am the caregiver for my friend Lynne for 10 hours...it is a very long day!
Sue
Am I remembering correctly that your caregiving has been for quite awhile now? Praying for Lynne, for wisdom in your caregiving, for stamina and for energy left over for Dave and yourself.
DeleteOh thank you Linda for the prayers. Some days are really more difficult than others. Yes this is my friend of more than 60 years and I have been helping out for 3 or 4 years now.
DeleteYesterday was difficult but we made it through. Appreciate more prayer since I do it again tomorrow (Wednesday) another 10+ hour day. Then I am back to my 1 day a week...4 hour day. Good helpful pay from the State but Its so hard to see more and more of my friend slipping away every week.
Sue
Thanks for encouragement, Ginny!

ReplyDeleteI agree with Ruth...you have a wonderful attitude. I need to have one like it more of the time.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful. Keep feeling so positive.
ReplyDeleteKeep on plugging on. Sounds like you have such healing attitude.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful attitude and high fives to you for sharing this with us.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Linda. Without God's wonderful grace, I would be lost and on my way to a Christless eternity. Great is His faithfulness! The best is yet to come. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration, and Amen to God's grace. What would we do without it.
