One Stroky’s Journey: Breakthrough!

Today was a happy first in occupational therapy. I was able to wiggle the thumb on my left hand. I couldn’t believe it, and went for a repeat. Yep! It really was moving.

“Did you see that?” I asked therapist Amy.

“Yes!” she said. “Try the others”

I was able to move my middle finger, too. Then I started bawling, definitely happy tears!

God is faithful!

  5. LInda, those breakthroughs are awesome. The last thing to move on my stroke side was the pinkie finger on my left hand which still misbehaves from time to time. Otherwise, I am mostly okay. I can still fall down however, as I discovered last week. Ouch, my ankle twised but is still working. Hang in there ODAT. Dianne
